Working closely with our Development, Online Marketing and Design teams on a daily basis to ensure potential problems are identified as early as possible and to keep up to date on progress.

Implementing a ghosting process using Norton Ghost that allowed any employee to re-image a machine in 20 minutes. This process would restore that machine back to a clean and workable state if problems occurred. Setup of a security policy and used an organizational unit on our server to restrict users rights such as installation of software and the ability to change settings.

Writing a wide variety of ActiveX DLL COM components in Visual Basic (VB) for operations such as data adoption logic, document storage, tax calculation and XML translation. I have then used these components within a distributed architecture either being created directly on a server or using DCOM to create them on other networked machines. Development of HTML and Active Server Pages (ASP) to expose business functionality using COM technologies in both Internet and Intranet applications.

Development of HTML and Active Server Pages (ASP), utilizing both JavaScript and VBScript.
Production of new database applications for end users as well as the general upkeep of existing databases. This involved creating and manipulating SQL databases over both the Internet and a LAN using ODBC. Giving technical support to end users on a day-to-day basis. This required problem solving skills and on the spot knowledge.
In my time at Freedom House I supported most Microsoft Applications as well as the Apple Macintosh machines and our Sage accounting software.
Day to day usage of SQL Server 7.0, Visual Interdev, Visual Basic (VB), Microsoft Access and Microsoft FrontPage.
Web page design for external customers using Access as a back end system and integrating this into software to allow those customers to remotely update their own sites with little or no previous development experience.
